description
Southampton City Council (SCC) invites a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to submit a proposal for the writing of two detailed feasibility studies for mobility hubs in two locations in the Solent region.
The Studies must be carried out and submitted to SCC Sustainable Cities Team by Friday 8th October 2021.
The Studies will need to establish if the Hubs are deliverable and practical, with a clear understanding of customers' needs, wants and demands.
The Supplier will need to liaise with officers within the two designated local authorities, Portsmouth County Council (PCC) and Winchester County Council (WCC), to draw on local knowledge, policy, strategy, needs and demands.
The Studies shall provide: a historical background of the project; a description of the products or services on offer; the potential locations for the Hubs; evidence of market research and links to local policies; project benefits; and any legal/planning requirements.
The Supplier will be expected to evidence data analysis, providing sources and commenting on whether the data supports need and demand.
- The Studies will also need to provide options of the Hubs' operational and management structures, including product/service characteristics, staff and financial expectations etc
