Pennywell Regeneration Project, Sunderland

Gentoo hope to approach the market later this year to procure a Contractor to deliver a very large refurbishment Programme within the Pennywell Estate of Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.

The purpose of this notice is to invite potential Bidders to attend a "Meet the Buyer" event, which will allow Gentoo to introduce the Procurement and Project Teams, discuss who Gentoo are, to provide full details of the programme and to allow potential Bidders to raise any queries they may have regards the Procurement or the programme itself.

This event is scheduled to take place on Thursday 19 August 2021 at 9am via virtual video conferencing.

The event is anticipated to last one hour - but further opportunity for dialogue will be possible after the event.

The Pennywell Estate has 1,185 properties under the ownership of Gentoo - all of which are to receive some form of works as part of this programme.

The scope of works is inclusive of the following:

• Re-roofing;

• Window replacements;

• Wall tie replacements;

• External decoration;

• Replacement of boundaries/fencing/gates; and

• Various other external repairs.

The programme is to commence in Summer 2022 and complete in Summer 2024.

The anticipated value of the entire programme is approximately £17 million.
