The contract includes all TVP Automatic Vehicle Barriers, Gates and Pedestrian Gates.
The contract includes:
- a)Automatic Vehicle Barriers including:
- i)Sliding gate units
- ii)Swinging hinged gate units
- iii)Bi-fold gate units
- iv)Lifting barriers
- b)Pedestrian gates
- c)Traffic lights
The Contractor will be expected to provide a cost efficient, quality driven service to undertake all periodic planned maintenance and call-outs for system failures, together with installations of new equipment related to the above elements.
Call-outs will require a response for attendance on site on one of the following three basis:
- d)4-hour
- e)24-hour
- f)7-day
Planned preventative and reactive maintenance including new installations and replacements for Gates & Barriers.
PIN without call for comp only at this stage to alert/gauge the market & provide a conduit for potential providers to express an interest. Current contract expires 31/8/2020. The formal tender process is planned to commence early April 2020. All expressions of interest to be notified via EU Supply. It is anticipated that any subsequent contract will be a maximum of 4 years (2+2) commencing Sept 2020.
The purpose of this PIN is to obtain a better understanding of the current market & identify potential service providers and gauge interest in a four year (2+2) contract. This opportunity will be tendered under the Open Procedure. Interested providers must inform the the contracting entity of their expression of interest in this service provision PIN by the deadline of Wednesday 8th April 2020 at 16:00 via the EU Supply (Bluelight) portal https://uk.eu-supply.com However, potential providers will not be excluded from bidding for this requirement or future tender opportunities if no response is received, the opportunity will be visible to the market when published and live.
Any subsequent procurement action will be competed under current EU rules and directives in force at the time of publication by electronic means via the EU Supply (Bluelight) portal https://uk.eu-supply.com
All correspondence must be in UK English.

Supplier site visits are planned in the coming weeks, potentially throughout mid to late April 2020, further details will be provided nearer the time.
