description
This is a Contract Award Notice. Calcot Junior School is being re-modelled to accommodate increased pupil numbers. Additional classroom space has been provided within the existing building.
The Scope of Works seeks to construct new build extensions to the existing Junior School. These include: a staffroom (circa.50.7m2); office (circa.10.6m2); library/resource room (circa. 34.1m2) and the conversion of the School's existing staffroom, back into a classroom.
There is also the need to provide a staff WC, cloakroom and connecting circulation areas.
Calcot Junior School is located on a sloping site and this is reflected in the design.
