The SA will deliver 121 intensive support to SMEs, including:

 Conduct an initial eligibility check to verify SMEs are eligible to receive support from the project (to include company size, location and subsidy control allowance).  Conduct a checklist diagnostic of the business premises and the operation's energy consumption to establish whether improvements could be made;

 Refer suitable SMEs for an Energy Audit, a specification confirming up to 3 priority areas for the audit to focus on.

 Devise a sustainability plan template and use this to deliver identify interventions SMEs could take action on, together with estimated costs and energy savings.

• oExample interventions would include for example: LED lighting, Insulation, No/Lowcost behavioural changes such as switching lights off.

 Support SMEs throughout the energy audit process and liaise with Energy Audit providers to ensure recommendations are compatible with the operation's needs.  Support SMEs to gather quotes for interventions and develop a grant application.

 Provide input into and support delivery of 1-to-many workshops for SMEs that are interested in starting a carbon reduction journey; and

 Signpost to other sources of support. Advice will be provided to SMEs with premises located in the Rotherham Borough
