description
Crown Commercial Service as the Contracting Authority has put in place a Framework Agreement for use by UK public sector bodies (and any future successors to these organisations), which include Central Government Departments and their Arm's Length Bodies and Agencies, Non Departmental Public Bodies, NHS bodies and Local Authorities. The above Public Sector Bodies have a need for a compliant Procurement Vehicle to access Cloud Computing Services. The maximum initial duration of any Call-Off Contract that may be placed by an eligible Contracting Body is 24 months with two extensions allowed, each of up to 12 months. G-Cloud services, available via the Digital Marketplace, will require frequent procurement refreshes to bring on new suppliers and services. New iterations of this Framework are considered at a varying frequency of 6-12 months depending on demand and/or availability of new services as the IT Cloud market develops. Potential Providers were recommended to respond to the Invitation to Tender to ensure services were displayed in the optimum manner on the Digital Marketplace. Potential Providers responded to this G-Cloud 9 procurement via the Digital Marketplace and details of how to register were detailed athttps://www.gov.uk/guidance/g-cloud-suppliers-guide#how-to-apply Potential Providers had to register on the Digital Marketplace.
