We have been given permission to redevelop four courtyard spaces at York Hospital, and one woodland space at Scarborough Hospital. These areas have been identified as the sites that will support the needs of patients, staff and visitors who require outdoor space to help them cope with their hospital admission and jointly to support staff wellbeing.

The contractor would be brought on board on a Design and Build basis, working from an agreed sketch design that will be provided by the authority in this document.
