Ministry of Justice has awarded 12 contracts for the provision of personal protective equipment (PPE) to all staff within Her Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) involved in planned Use of Force.
Equipment includes: body armour, guards and protectors, fire retardant clothing, gloves, footwear, helmets, batons, shields, handcuffs, method of entry equipment, PAVA spray and leg restraint belts.
The requirement was split into Lots.
