Teacher Assessment - English writing standardisation and training

Information: temporary teacher assessment standardisation roles

We will shortly be inviting bids for temporary teacher assessment (TA) deputy standardisation team leader (DSTL) roles at key stage 1 (KS1) and key stage 2 (KS2). These roles will consist of quality assuring training materials, and facilitating at our on-line national moderator training events. National training and standardisation will ensure the TA frameworks (TAFs) are applied accurately and consistently across the country, which will provide a robust and reliable national data set.

We are planning for the specification to go live from 7 September until 10am 2 October 2021 on the Department for Education's (DfE) e-procurement system, Jaggaer, and a notice will appear on Contracts Finder.

To tender for this work, you will need to pre-register with Jaggaer before the competition closes and within the time frame for submitting a bid.

2019/20 teacher assessment frameworks at the end of KS1

2019/20 teacher assessment frameworks at the end of KS2

demonstrable experience of KS1 or KS2 moderation (within the last 3 years)

experience of awarding English writing TA judgements or moderating standards against the KS1 or KS2 teacher assessment frameworks (TAFs)

have received approval to moderate from STA within the last 3 years
