Glazing Framework - 2019/2023

Gentoo Group are currently seeking tenders from glazing companies to enter into a four-year framework agreement to deliver glazing to properties on behalf of its Repairs & Maintenance department.

All works to be delivered will be within the boundaries of Sunderland, Houghton, Hetton and Washington, in the region of Tyne and Wear.

Certain elements of the works are responsive and the tenderer will be required to sign up to the service level agreements stated within the tender documents.

The works will include the following:

• Boarding up/making safe of properties which have suffered damage to the glazing only if Gentoo's own in-house team are unable to attend.
• The survey and measure of the affected glazing so that a new unit of the same specification can be ordered.
• Fitting the new glazed unit to the property.

The above works will also require the Provider to liaise with the affected customer when necessary.

The values given within this notice are "per order" to the successful Provider. It is envisaged that, subject to satisfactory service standards, the number one ranked Provider after this tender exercise will be directly awarded all of the works for the four-year period.
