Hastings Borough Council seeks to appoint an experienced project management team to oversee the development of Hastings Castle and the West Hill Café project. This project involves the development, build, operation, and maintenance of the West Hill Café as an Interpretation Centre for Hastings Castle, alongside various refurbishments and improvements to enhance the Castle's status as a world-class heritage destination. The project manager will act on behalf of the Council ensuring best value is achieved and best practice is followed.

The Hastings Town Fund supports the redevelopment of Hastings Castle and West Hill Café, aiming to transform them into a major cultural destination. The project includes a café, restaurant, retail space, community space, and new interpretation/visitor experiences. A new platform lift will ensure step-free access from the West Hill Lift top station. Development will integrate engaging and innovative interpretations techniques to enhance the visitor experience.
