MOLIS Labaratory Information Management SystemUpgrade

Public Health England (PHE) requires and upgrade to its MOLIS laboratory information management system hardware at Colindale, London. The system, MOLIS was installed by CGM, who currently maintain it. Any interested suppliers would have to work in partnership with GCM Lab Belgium for the provision of the MDW servers due to the specialist software and configuration for use in a Category 1 to 4 laboratory environments.

Please ensure your organisation is an approved CGM LAB MOLIS supplier or that your organisation can work in partmnership with GCM Lab Belgium before any response to this notice.

The requirement consists of the following Hardware:-

MOLIS Application server Data

warehouse server and backup with

24/7 Server service pack

Software:-

Linux Red Hat Enterprise Standard (up to 2 sockets), with kit media (MCT0346)

MDDR Backup (with maintenece).

Services (to be undertaken by a technician experienced in configuration of the MOLIS product):- Project Management

Hardware assembly and configuration

Software installation

Data Migration

Testing of all installed hardware and software including switch procedure

Integration with PHE's existing lab management system and to PHE's satisfaction.

The chosen supplier must be able to provide a full installation and have the system in operation on completion.
