Near Patient Testing Procurement

NHS Arden and GEM CSU on behalf of Mansfield and Ashfield CCG and Newark and Sherwood CCG issue a Prior Information Notice regarding our intention to undertake a competitive Procurement via the Official Journal of the European Union for the provision of Near Patient Testing Products, consumables and associated support services.

The contract will be for a period of 3 years commencing August/September 2017.

The Contract will include the purchase of Capital Equipment and associated consumables costs in relation to C-Reactive Protein, Urinalysis, Pregnancy HCG across GP Practices within the CCGs. Additional requirements include a D-Dimer and Troponin at a site within each CCG along with 24 hour telephone support and associated product training, maintenance and support services.

It is anticipated that the ITT will be advertised openly via the Official Journal of the European Union early July 2017 although this may be subject to change.

This notice is for information only, interested parties are asked to respond in line with the formal advertisement when posted within the Official Journal of the European Union.

The full service specification will be included within the Invitation to Tender and please note that at this stage we are unable to provide further information to interested parties.
