description
Expanding General Bereavement Support in Surrey.
From all the Surrey suicide audits 2007- 2021, general bereavement has been identified as one of the top five contributing risk factors of the suicide.
The loss of a loved one, regardless of how they died can cause grief, sadness, isolation, and increased risk of poor mental health.
The aim of this contract is to provide support to people in Surrey who have experienced a bereavement.
CRUSE are a nationally recognised bereavement support service. We are funding CRUSE to expand their service provision by 25% across the Surrey County Council boundary.
