Supply of Airsoft Rifles, Electronic Targets, and Associated Equipment for Army Engagement

Unite Procurement UK Limited (part of Unite Holding SE), on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, is seeking suppliers to join the Mercateo Procurement Platform to support the provision of airsoft rifles, electronic targets, and related equipment for Army engagement activities.

(www.mercateo.co.uk) offers a compliant route to market for UK Public Sector organisations to manage low-value, high-volume procurement.

We are seeking suppliers able to provide a range of airsoft equipment and maintenance capabilities, including but not limited to:

Key Requirements

1. Airsoft Rifles

"SA80 A3" and "KS1" air rifles, modified for compliance with Home Office Firearms Law:

Power setting reduced to 1.2 Joule (not classed as a firearm)

Auto fire switch disabled

Battery system upgraded (double capacity, securely fitted)

Charging system upgraded for robust plug-in process

Secure carrying case included

Service and repair capabilities on request

2. Electronic Targets

Target packages suitable for Army engagement activities

3. Other Airsoft Kit Items

Red dot sight, charger, foregrip

Target set in hardened carry case with Wi-Fi table, stands, connectors Box of log in key fobs

Roles of scaffolding debris screen

Auto loader

Box of safety glasses

0.2g bio pellets

4. Storage, Repairs, Maintenance, and Technical Assistance

Secure off-site storage for replacement stock of rifles and targets to aid in maintenance and repair

Dedicated space for working rifles/targets, ensuring immediate replacements are available

Annual maintenance service for air rifles, with approximately 80 weapons serviced per year

Suppliers must demonstrate the ability to deliver to multiple UK locations, provide technical support, and comply with all relevant UK regulations.

Unite Procurement UK Limited does not intend to appoint a sole supplier for this requirement. Instead, multiple suppliers may be onboarded to the Mercateo Procurement Platform to ensure a diverse and competitive supply base, supporting flexibility and choice for the Ministry of Defence and associated organisations.

Suppliers are encouraged to express their interest by the stated closing date to ensure early consideration. However, applications to join the Mercateo Procurement Platform will be welcome at any time beyond the initial deadline. Unite Procurement UK Limited reserves the right to review and onboard new suppliers on a rolling basis to meet evolving requirements and to maintain a dynamic and responsive supplier network.
