Supply of MOT Type 1 and Type 2 Aggregates

Unite Procurement UK Limited (part of Unite Holding SE), on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, is seeking suppliers to join the Unite Procurement Platform to support the Supply of MOT Type 1 and Type 2 Aggregates

The procurement covers.

The procurement is for the supply of crushed sub-base materials used for structural support across MOD-related works.

MOT Type 1: A stronger and denser crushed aggregate material, widely used for heavy-load areas such as driveways and structural sub-base applications.

MOT Type 2: A finer crushed sub-base material with improved permeability, suited to light-duty applications such as pedestrian traffic areas and where improved drainage is required.

Suppliers should be able to provide consistent graded material to specification and support MOD supply requirements through appropriate delivery arrangements and product traceability.

Interested suppliers should register their interest by contacting Unite Procurement UK Limited and provide details of their product range, modification capabilities, and maintenance services. Further information on the onboarding process for the Unite Procurement Platform will be provided upon expression of interest and can also be found at the link attached. Unite Procurement UK Limited does not intend to appoint a sole supplier for this requirement. Instead, multiple suppliers may be onboarded to the Unite Procurement Platform to ensure a diverse and competitive supply base, supporting flexibility and choice for the Ministry of Defence and associated organisations.

Suppliers are encouraged to express their interest by the stated closing date to ensure early consideration. However, applications to join the Unite Procurement Platform will be welcome at any time beyond the initial deadline. Unite Procurement UK Limited reserves the right to review and onboard new suppliers on a rolling basis to meet evolving requirements and to maintain a dynamic and responsive supplier network.
