Gritting Service & Snow Removal

North Wales Police have 29 police locations/sites across the North Wales Region that require the services of a suitably qualified contractor to provide gritting services and snow removal throughout the colder months of the year. Once the trigger level is anticipated by data pulled from a recognised weather meteorological office the contractor will email their plans to a scheduled visit and gritting of named sites for that evening. Note that North Wales Police will have the option to cancel any scheduled visit weekdays; up to 12noon on day of report but will agree to automatically allow entrance to locations on a Saturday or Sunday as access to emails will be limited out of normal office hours.

Police Vetting required via Warwickshire vetting service to NPPV Level 1.

The contract commencement date is 1st October 2025, once awarded, and run for a period of 3 years, with the option within the contract to extend +2 if both parties are happy with the performance provided.

Cyn gynted ag y derbynnir data gan swyddfa dywydd cydnabyddedig bydd y contractwr yn e-bostio eu cynlluniau i raeanu safleoedd penodedig y noson honno. Noder y bydd gan Heddlu Gogledd Cymru'r opsiwn i ganslo unrhyw ymweliad a drefnwyd yn ystod yr wythnos hyd at 12:00 ar ddiwrnod yr adroddiad ond bydd yn cytuno i ganiatáu mynediad awtomatig i leoliadau ar ddydd Sadwrn neu ddydd Sul gan y bydd mynediad i e-byst yn cael ei gyfyngu y tu allan i oriau swyddfa arferol.

Dyddiad dechrau'r cytundeb yw 1⁠ Hydref 2025, a bydd yn rhedeg am gyfnod o 3 blynedd, gyda'r opsiwn o fewn y cytundeb i ymestyn +2 os yw'r ddau barti yn hapus gyda'r perfformiad a ddarp
