Fire Door Installations

This is a mini competition off the South East Consortium's Fire Safety framework, Lot 2 (Passive Fire Protection).

The South East Consortium on behalf of West Kent Housing Association (WKHA) invite you to tender for their Replacement of Flat Front Entrance Fire Door Sets contract.

West Kent Housing Association require a contractor for the supply and installation of flat entrance fire doors. Door sets may be with, or without, glazed, or solid, panel fan lights and side panels but would be solid unless expressly authorised. Door sets will be solid without glazing to the door and offered in flush, four-panel and six-panel variants and should match as best possible the existing offering.

The work will be completed in occupied properties. The properties are mainly social housing and the contractor needs to be aware of the importance of clear communication with tenants. There may be language, culture, safeguarding and vulnerability issues that the contractor needs to take account of when completing the work.
