description

Following the success of the 60mph speed trials Highways England has an aspiration to use a 60mph speed limit more often and in more circumstances on our major motorway roadworks.

With the adoption of 60mph speed limits as business as usual in its infancy, Highways England is looking to award a contract to undertake regular data analysis to determine if the expected benefits of operating 60mph speed limits in roadworks are being realised in line with the expected safety tolerance.
