description
Tenders are sought for the provision of a refurbished modular building 24m x 12.5m containing three classrooms, kitchen and welfare facilities for students with special educational needs. Foundations and service connections are already in place and the building must comply in all respects to current Building Regulations. It is intended to let the contract under a JCT 2011 minor works form of contract but other suitable forms of contract would be considered. Details of the layout and specification of internal fit out are attached.
The project is required within a tight timescale ready for occupation at the beginning of the Autumn term 2016 and as such will require completion on 12th August 2016.
Tenders will be assessed under the following criteria Price 60%, Quality 20% (references will be required), Delivery 20% (to ensure usage as above).
Any advance payments required under the provision of this work will require the entire advance payment sum to covered by a suitable bond the cost of which must be included in any price submission.
