Brief Description of Requirement

Purchase of 4 x Off Axis Parabolas

A Parabola is an ideal curved focussing optic for either collimating an expanding beam or focusing a collimated beam when dealing with very broad bandwidth optical pulses.

The TAP Beamline project intends to use parabolas as collimators after Vacuum Spatial Filters and also for focusing a compressed pulse to enable that pulse to be diagnosed.

Four Parabola's are required for this project. Three Parabola's are required without coating and one Parabola is required coated.

This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the RFP document.

All submissions will be assessed in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, for procurement values that exceed Regulation 5 (Threshold amounts)
