description

Our broad objectives are to:

  • a.Understand the importance of data protection for consumer trust and growth in the digital economy;
  • b.Identify the benefits of the GDPR for individuals (data subjects), consumers and organisations and understand any previous existing attempts to quantify those;
  • c.Develop a framework and quantify the benefits of data protection rights for consumers under the GDPR (such as 'the right to be forgotten' and 'the right to data portability') for both the individuals affected and the organisations delivering them.

These objectives can be met through means determined by the Supplier, but a combination of desk research, literature review, case studies and/or (online) surveys should be considered as part of the proposal.
