description
This is a further competition under RM6168 Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Estate Management Services Framework agreement Lot 1: Total Estate Management to appoint a panel of property agents to undertake valuations of property and land assets owned by the Council. This is to ensure all Council, and Housing Revenue Account (HRA) property and land assets are valued in accordance with the RICS red book as required, in order to aid decision making and to enable us to demonstrate best consideration as appropriate. This includes a mixture of operational properties, investment properties, such as shops, offices, HRA and Non HRA Housing land, municipal shops and industrial estates. These valuations are associated to the Councils Asset Disposals Programme (ADP) which is a priority of the Councils Improvement Recovery Plan (IRP)), plus the Housing / HRA Business Plan priorities. There is also a requirement for valuation advice of assets to complete best consideration reports, provide appropriation values of properties held for sale and surplus properties.
