Willowfield Humanities College ICT Procurement

The London Borough of Waltham Forest (the Authority) is seeking to appoint a single or multiple providers to supply, install and configure, where required, solutions covering ICT devices for Willowfield Humanities College. Waltham Forest Council is undertaking a further competition through the LIFE 2014 Framework for the provision and installation of devices for Willowfield Humanities College. The work on the new building has started and is due for completion in September 2015, prior to which the ICT systems and many of the devices will be required to be installed by the successful provider(s). LIFE 2014 Framework providers are expected to identify which sections of the requirement are relevant to them in relation to their awarded place on the Framework and are encouraged to read through all requirements in order to gain a full understanding of the college's requirements. The new building, will offer students light and open classrooms and, crucially, access to a greater range of reliable learning technologies. The new computer network will be robust and adaptable to support, (in the fullness of time), 1:1 through the use of tablets, PCs and also to allow the development of the BYOD model in the future. The construction programme is due for completion on 28th August 2015 and the installation of ICT assets will take place prior to this handover date in mid- August. Please ensure that you only submit a proposal for this project if you are able to meet this timescale. The Invitation to Further Competition (<b>ITFC</b>) will be for the supply, installation and configuration (where applicable) of the following work packages: Wireless Network Solution (Lot 2a of LIFE 2014 Framework) Classroom Interactive Screens (IWBs, Interactive LEDs) (Lot 3a of LIFE 2014 Framework) Digital Signage Displays and Controller (Lot 3d of LIFE 2014 Framework) Servers and Associated Hardware (Lot 4a of LIFE 2014 Framework) Workstations and Laptop Computers and Lapsafe (Lot 4b of LIFE 2014 Framework) Peripherals, Printers and Multi-Functional Devices (Lot 4d of LIFE 2014 Framework)
