New Digital UKSR Registration System

As a result of the following:-the launch of the new digital UKSR registration system to the public, -the complete restructure of the RSS operating model (including permanent staff and union consultation, extensive realignment, and retraining), -the launch of the new UK Maritime Services and UK flag brand,-the resolution of outstanding disciplinaries and absences amongst the permanent RSS management team (4.5 FTE) with the management burden this brings to provide appropriate return to work support for this team who are completely untrained on any of the new system-the part return to the refurbished Cardiff office, observing specific health and safety guidelines,-the continued working from home of certain team members-as well as the uncertainty surrounding the continued COVID pandemic, shielding and health requirements and the potential of local lockdownsItis recommended that the contracts of the interim management resource and temporary agents in the contact centre are extended beyond the current completion date of 18 September 2020.

This resource (Dawn Kent Payne) has been in place since January 2020; however, an extension is required to enable the resource to remain in place until 31stDecember 2020.
