Further competition was conducted via the BIS Research and Evaluation Framework - Lot 1 to commission a Survey to Determine Current Attitudes to the use of Animals in Scientific Research for the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy. 8.The scope of this assignment covered the following areas of work:
A UK wide survey of public attitudes to the use of animals in scientific research, to include attitudes towards regulatory and inspectoral regimes.
an analysis of the trends displayed by the population for each question asked, in comparison to the 2014 and 2016 surveys.
design and production of a final project report for online publication, keeping in mind the layout and style of previous reports.
delivery of an anonymised dataset in Excel for online publication and re-use by other researchers.
