Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are commencing a tender for the provision of University Training Days for Educators in the East of England.

Health Education England East of England (HEE EoE) is seeking to engage providers to deliver initial academic training sessions to underpin educational supervision as part of continuing professional development (CPD) for the East of England Clinical and Educational Supervisors (Clinicians).

The FST aims to train up to 1000 educators via either face to face or virtual learning within each year of the first three years of the contract. After three years this number will significantly reduce. HEE will award two contracts to two providers for Lot 1 and three contracts to three providers for Lot 2. Providers can bid for one or both Lots.

Face-to-face - Lot 1 - 400 educators per year (200 educators each provider)

Virtual - Lot 2 - 600 educators per year (200 educators each provider)

The initial programme period of three years will be a maximum value of £396,000 exclusive of VAT.

Lot 1 - The maximum amount per educator for face to face delivery will be £150 exclusive of VAT. Each provider will provide training to 200 educators a year.

Lot 2 - The maximum amount per educator for virtual delivery will be £120 exclusive of VAT. Each provider will provide training to 200 educators a year.

The Authority retains the option to extend the contracts by up to a further 2 year period.

The deadline for submission of completed ITT submissions is Friday 25 September 2020 at 12:00pm (midday). Late submissions will not be accepted. The e-portal system will shutdown at 12:00pm and any un-submitted bids not registered to the system at this time will not be accepted. Therefore, please submit in good time prior to the deadline date and time.
