description
A team of 8 consultants is required until September 2021 to provide additional capacity that will enable the team to implement new data feeds from International Travellers and laboratories testing for 'Variants of Concern'. The resource will be assigned to each of the PHE regional teams to focus on the configuration of laboratories in their areas to report COVID-19 test results, plus the additional data required to detect mutant strains of the virus.
Their responsibilities will continue as previous but will expand to:
| • | The onboarding of new private laboratories to report tests performed on International Arrivals. |
| • | Perform regular audits of private laboratories to ensure the required data items for International Arrivals are being captured and reported in a timeframe that allows for public health action to be taken. |
| • | Configure dataflows to capture sequencing data from private testing laboratories |
| • | Configure each of the laboratories performing Reflex tests for mutant strains to report these results to PHE / T&T |
| • | Support the daily COVID-19 data collection process of data from labs around the country. |
| • | Support the investigation of reporting issues and support NHS T&T 7-days a week. |
| • | Take responsibility to ensure data is inserted into the Project Siren DB for analysis and reporting. |
| • | Support data cleaning and ingestion through the PHE POCT portal. |
