Sunderland City Council are looking to appoint a single provider to deliver a Direct Payment Support Service
The Service will comprise of:
| a) | Direct Payments Employment Support Service - This service will support Clients with the recruitment, selection and retention of Personal Assistants |
| b) | Payroll Service - This service will support the Client with their responsibilities relating to the payment of their Employees |
And will be accessible to the following groups:
| a) | People aged 16 or over who meet all of the following criteria: |
| i. | Are in receipt of a Social Care Direct Payment or a Personal Health Budget Direct Payment, and |
| ii. | Live in the Sunderland local authority area |
| b) | People aged 16 or over who meet all of the following criteria: |
| i. | Are in receipt of a Personal Health Budget Direct Payment, and |
| ii. | Are registered with a Sunderland GP |
| c) | People who have responsibility for a disabled child living in the Sunderland local authority area and are in receipt of a Social Care Direct Payment or a Personal Health Budget Direct Payment for that child |
| d) | People who have responsibility for a disabled child who is registered with a Sunderland GP and are in receipt of a Personal Health Budget Direct Payment for that child |
The Provider will receive referrals from Sunderland City Council, Sunderland Clinical Commissioning Group and people who receive a Direct Payment and must have a local point of contact or be able to set up a local point of contact within the City of Sunderland. The office should be accessible to all potential Clients
