Arden & GEM Commissioning Support Unit on behalf of Lincolnshire East Clinical Commissioning Group (LECCG) is seeking to procure a short-term “Proof of Concept” Community Dermatology Service.

LECCG dermatology services are currently provided only from secondary care. The main current providers are United Lincolnshire Hospital Trust, and North Lincolnshire and Goole.

The service excludes two-week wait and Tier-four patients. All other patients aged six and over will be referred to the community dermatology service for assessment, diagnosis and treatment, within a shorter time frame.

The service is a “proof of concept” and will be frequently evaluated and developed to inform the future commissioning requirements for dermatology. The term of the contract is for 12-18 months.

The CCG wishes to hear from suitably qualified and experienced community dermatology providers who may be interested in delivering these Services. Please note that this is not a formal procurement advertisement. The services to which this advertisement relates fall within Part B of Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations.
