description
Extra Care Housing is housing designed with the needs of frailer older people in mind whom may have a requirement for varying levels of care and support to be available on site.
People who live in Extra Care Housing Schemes have their own self-contained homes, with their own front door and a legal right to occupy the property.
Each of the Extra Care Schemes within the scope of the Framework is purpose built. It is a popular housing choice among older people because the care provision available can sometimes provide an alternative to a care home.
This Framework is for the delivery of care and support to individuals within Extra Care schemes in Staffordshire with an assessed social care need.
The Council will be appointing multiple Suppliers to provide various Call off Contracts under a Framework Agreement for Care and Support within Extra Care Schemes.
The following Lot structure will apply:
Lot 1: Jubilee Court - One Supplier to be awarded
Lot 2: MacGregor Tithe - One Supplier to be awarded
Lot 3: Mill Rise - One Supplier to be awarded
Lot 4: Chestnut Grange - One Supplier to be awarded
Lot 5: Framework for Care and Support Services for Extra Care Schemes within North Staffordshire -Unrestricted number of Suppliers to be awarded Lot 6: Framework for Care and Support Services for Extra Care Schemes within South Staffordshire -Unrestricted number of Suppliers to be awarded
