Your company has been selected to quote for the above opportunity. The scope of which will comprise of, but may not be limited to, the supply and installation of traffic sensors and provision of a data platform and all associated hardware and software to provide the Authority with real time data updates on traffic activities on the highway network in Portsmouth.

The Authority is inviting proposals across two Lots defined by the type of traffic sensor proposed, one of which will be awarded;

  • oLot 1 - Bluetooth sensors
  • oLot 2 - Bluetooth/wifi combined sensors

Suppliers may form consortiums or use sub-contracting arrangements to meet the Authority's requirements on the proviso that all providers of the solution are suitably certified and this can be evidenced.

The Authority is targeting to have awarded the contract by 21st August 2017 and the complete solution must be installed, integrated and fully tested by 1st November 2017. The initial Contract period will be for 1 year but is extendable by a further one year subject to additional funding.
