TD1513 - The Supply of Services in respect of Bus Station Facilities Management

Tenders are invited for the supply of services in respect of Bus Station Facilities Management. With over 14 million people using Derby bus station every year, the site forms a key asset in the cities public transport network. The bus station is open for business for between 17 - 19 hours a day, 363 days a year with over 115 buses departing the site during the busiest hour. To ensure people feel confident to use bus services it is essential that the bus station is kept clean and secure. Since the bus station opened in March 2010 a Service Provider has provided cleaning, security and information office services on site. The current contract is now coming to an end and we are therefore seeking to retender the work.

The estimated total value is based on estimated maximum annual average spend, estimated increase in contract duration, and the contract is for up to five years. The initial contract period is 12 months; the contract is estimated to commence 01/04/2020 and expire 31/03/2021. There will be an option to extend the contract in 4 annual increments, subject to satisfactory performance and business needs.

Price is not the only award criterion and all criteria are stated in the procurement documents. Selection Criteria and Conditions relating to environmental and social requirements of the contracting authority may be included in this contract; details are to be provided in the procurement documents

It is recommended that you express interest and obtain the documentation well before this time to allow sufficient time to prepare and submit a comprehensive response. The deadline for returns is 12:00 on 27/01/2020.
