description
Runnymede is a relatively compact borough in the County of Surrey with a population of approximately 80,500 covering an area of 7,804ha. The Council's land and property assets are diverse. - The Council also owns properties which support operational delivery e.g., offices, community centres, pavilions, a depot which are held in support of wider Council initiatives and / or to provide a larger land ownership for longer term redevelopment opportunities or to bring forward other socio-economic benefits.
- The strategy was developed in-house; however, it is anticipated advice will be required to implement the strategy to maximise the returns of the portfolio as the Council looks to the future of its holding.
- The services requirement of this specification and the tender process are to be instructed on a call off basis, as and when required by the Council, this contract places no obligation on the Council to instruct or purchase any particular service.
- The Council invites responses for the provision of this requirement in accordance with the terms & conditions, and the terms as set out in this document.
- The Council is conducting this further competition from the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 compliant framework Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Framework, RM6168 Estate Management Lot 1: Total Estate Management in order to appoint a Contractor to best meet the requirement.
