Provision of new cabinets and associated data and power infrastructure.
Surrey County Council operates 2 dedicated, purpose built, state of the art data centres which provide secure hosting space, applications and infrastructure services to over 8000 users across the Councils internal business teams and partners, as well as external partnerships for both public sector and private sector clients under its partnership strategy. These data centres are critical to the day to day business of the council with the technology touching almost every aspect of the organisation.
As part of an ongoing expansion program
To support this, there is a requirement to provide additional cabinets.

- The Council is procuring an Appropriate Adult Service in accordance with its statutory duties under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (PACE) and the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 (section 38(4)(a)).
