Market Engagement Exercise for the Provision of a Dental out-of-Hours service for Suffolk

NHS England Midlands & East (East) would like to invite potential providers to attend a Market Engagement Event which will inform the market of the intention to procure a new Dental Out-of-Hours Service for Suffolk.

The proposed locations for this service will be a matter for each Bidder to propose.

The Market Engagement Event will take place on Thursday 5th October 2017 at 7pm in Bury St Edmunds.

Places are strictly limited therefore reservations are restricted to no more than 2 persons per organisation.

Please ensure you have expressed an interest in attending the event by no later than 2.00pm on Tuesday 3rd October 2017.

The Market Engagement event will;

• Give an overview of the service being procured
• Provide details of the contract type, length and any particular conditions
• Explain the procurement process and the anticipated timelines

The Contract will be for a minimum period of five years. The contract for this service will be a Personal Dental Agreement (PDS) contract, with a Service commencement date of 1 April 2018.

The contract value is £184,600 per annum over the 5 year period.

TUPE will apply to this contract.

Please note that an expression of interest in this market event will not automatically entitle involvement in any future procurement exercise. Any procurement(s) conducted as a result of this event will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement as and when it may be published
