description
Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is currently considering the procurement for the provision of Temporary Labour Services. The purpose of this PIN is to inform the market of a potential upcoming requirement, as will be articulated fully within any published specification of requirements.
The Council wishes to hold an engagement event and has arranged for this to be held at 10am on 5th November 2021 via Teams. If you wish to express an interest in attending, please contact heather.breslin@causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk with the subject heading Temporary Labour Services Market Engagement
Should you have any queries in relation to this PIN or the procurement, please contact Heather Breslin on heather.breslin@causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk.
Please note: The Council has not yet definitively determined whether or how to procure and/or contract for these services, nor has it determined the most appropriate route to market (including, without limitation, whether to utilise an existing market Framework agreement). Its current intentions however are to:
- Procure under Lot 1 a single master vendor type arrangement for manual, general administration and non-specialist professional roles
- Procure under Lot 2 a second single master vendor type arrangement for executives, managerial and specialist professional (including roles associated with requiring professional qualifications such as qualified accountants, MCIPD roles, etc.).
The purpose of this notice is to inform prospective providers of a potential intention to seek to enter into a contract(s) with a supplier(s) for the provision of these services and to invite prospective suppliers to engage with the Council in determining whether this proposed model will deliver the needs of the desired outcomes. The Council will therefore welcome any comments or alternative models that potential suppliers may have in order to improve upon its current intended approach.
