New Water Main at Alice Holt Research Centre, Farnham, Surrey

Forest Research is inviting tenders for the supply, delivery and installation of a new Water Main at its Alice Holt Research Station in Farnham.

Replacement of the existing perimeter ring main, which runs around the site with numerous connections to various buildings and residential units; the latter are considered to be in serviceable condition and therefore will need to be [re]connected to the new ring main.

New Water Meters are to be installed to the residential units.

It is anticipated that the new main will be installed using directional drilling techniques to minimise disruption and this work undertaken during normal weekday working.

Connections to the main buildings will have to be undertaken out of normal hours, at weekends

The system has been fully Designed and Specified and a full set of Contract Documents are be available.

The works will be procured under a JCT Minor Work Contract.
