This PIN relates to a Request For Information (RFI) which Natural England are undertaking in advance of any future procurement exercise for the Cattle Handling Solution at Parsonage Down National Nature Reserve.
Natural England would like to gather information from suppliers who offer a design and build cattle handling system. The requirement is to design, build and maintain a stand-alone system to provide a safe working environment for both livestock and staff. The farm has a herd of 145 Longhorn cattle and the handling system must be able to perform several functions such as drafting of animals, loading onto haulage lorries, hoof trimming crushes and all animal handling tasks that occur throughout the farming year.
The build must be complete by Mid October 2025.
