SELEP, the biggest of 39 LEPs nationally in terms of geography and numbers of businesses, is a public/private sector partnership tasked with supporting economic growth – in the shape of jobs and homes – across the areas of East Sussex, Essex, Kent, Medway, Southend and Thurrock. Critical to this is the successful delivery of its responsibilities around the Local Growth Fund. SELEP will oversee a programme worth at least £488m up to 2021 and the technical evaluation of schemes is therefore of the utmost importance to the LEP’s operation.

The South East Local Enterprise Partnership (SELEP) requires consultancy services for the role of Independent Technical Evaluator (ITE) primarily to work with SELEP project promoters to obtain formal sign-off of business cases by the SELEP Board to enable funding to continue to flow.
