Expressions of Interest for Provision of Community Based, Non-Scalpel Vasectomies

NHS Derby and Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (DDCCG) are reviewing future options for the provision of non-scalpel vasectomies in community settings. The CCG is inviting views from suitably qualified and experienced providers to inform their thinking about:

• Level of market Interest and what potential capacity providers can offer across Derby and Derbyshire
• The optimum tariff that enables the provision of high quality and clinically effective services, while ensuring value for money for commissioners
• What delivery model and contracting mechanism would best suit the provision of non-scalpel vasectomies across Derby and Derbyshire

Please note, an expression of interest as a result of this PIN notice will not automatically entitle your involvement in any future procurement exercise. Any procurement conducted as a result of this notice will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement as and when it is published.

Please also note that a specification has not been provided as DDCCG will be following the three stage process that is standard across the country: assessment/counselling, surgical procedure, and after-care/post-surgery semen testing.
