description
Transport for West Midlands (TfWM), part of the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA), wishes to engage with suppliers through a market testing exercise to understand what the market has to offer in regard to a booking platform to facilitate the booking process and purchase of parking tickets at Park & Ride / Park & Walk sites during the Commonwealth Games. We are interested to learn about innovative ideas and solutions that can be provided by a platform provider to ensure the successful delivery of P&R/W sites. This may be of interest to providers who have relevant interest in hosting and building online ticketing/booking systems/platforms and software development specialists that have designed and built similar platforms to provide tickets at venues or car parks.
For those booking platform providers, this market sounding exercise is an opportunity to:
- Inform TfWM of the relevant services, technology and delivery models that can be used to deliver a booking platform for CWG spectators wanting to book a PR/W service; and,
- Use the feedback from the market to shape the procurement scope and approach
In order to access the supporting documents and submit your interest please do so through BravoSolution, the WMCA's e-tendering portal (https://wmca.bravosolution.co.uk). The PQQ includes further information on this requirement and the reference is pqq_139. If you are not already registered on BravoSolution it is free and usually only takes a few minutes to do so. If the project is of interest could you please complete the Questionnaire contained in the PQQ by 1700 on Friday 14th May 2021.
TfWM are hosting an online session to go through the requirements and for potential bidders to ask questions prior to the submission date. The session will take place on Friday 7th May 2021 at 1300. If this is of interest, please see the PQQ for further details and how to register to attend.
