Market Sounding consultation Form for AI System with Natural Voice AI Support

Huntingdonshire District Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified suppliers for the future provision of an AI system incorporating natural voice AI capabilities to enhance service delivery and citizen engagement across the council.

We are exploring solutions that can:

• Provide intuitive, natural voice interaction and web-based chatbot support for citizens
• Automate responses to a significant proportion of our routine service queries.
• Integrate with our existing platforms, including ContentGuru, NEC, Alloy, and IDOX systems
• Support better data analysis and improve operational efficiency
• Comply with data protection regulations and be scalable for future needs

We are particularly interested in suppliers who have experience delivering AI-enabled systems within a local authority or public sector context.

We seeking proposals from qualified vendors to design, develop, and implement an AI system that includes natural voice AI support. This system aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of council services, improve citizen engagement, and streamline operations.

The proposals will then be evaluated to select the best 4/5 submissions to submit full proposal and participate in a competitive tendering process.

We are undertaking a market engagement to understand what is on offer out there and what innovation providers can offer HDC. The market engagement will also help us to refine the service specification before going out either to tender
