Prior Information Notice - Bio-waste Treatment, Transfer and Transport Services Framework

Essex County Council (ECC) is planning a Bio-waste Treatment, Transfer and Transport Services Framework Agreement. The procurement process is looking to engage services for the treatment of source segregated municipal bio-waste and for a contract or contracts for the transfer and transport of municipal bio-waste arising from the county of Essex and the unitary authority of Southend-on-Sea. To develop this framework we are asking the market to consider our project brief and complete a questionnaire. This will assist the Authority with its development of their market approach and ensure it secures best value when procuring its requirements for bio-waste.

There is no guarantee of any Service Orders under this framework agreement once procured. The estimated value detailed in II.5.1 of the OJEU PIN represents an upper limit for the Authority.
