UHB prides itself in putting patient experience at the centre of care for our patients with kidney failure and as such have recently expanded our psychological support team. This tender is to support provision of an integrated and effective welfare and benefits support service for our patients, in recognition of the vital need to address these issues for holistic patient care.
This contract will support a welfare benefits support service that is patient centred and sensitive to individual's physical, psychological and emotional needs.
Patients will be provided with comprehensive information in accessible formats describing basic benefit entitlements along with signposting to and co-ordination of community and statutory resources.
The service will cover all Trust renal satellite units and wards based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
