Newham IT Operating Model Consultancy

The London Borough of Newham and London Borough of Havering currently have a shared IT service arrangement with oneSource. Both boroughs have agreed to disaggregate from the shared IT service and create and transition to sovereign IT services.

This is a London Borough of Newham requirement for consultancy and advisory services to support the development and implementation of a structure for the sovereign Newham Digital, Data, and Technology service and to provide advice and assurance on a safe and expedient transition.

Scope of Services:

1. Advisory and Consultation:

• a.Review existing advisory work and reports to input into the creation of a new operating model.
• b.Provide advice, assurance, and support for designing and structuring the new IT and digital service model.
• c.Assist in developing consultation documents and cases for change.
• d.Offer coaching, advice, and support to key staff members as needed.

2. Implementation Support:

• a.Assist in the creation and agreement of an IT operating model that meets Newham's needs.
• b.Transfer knowledge and provide guidance on implementing the new structure and change programme, including timelines, resource requirements, and stakeholder engagement.
