Out of Hours Urgent Dental Care Services Lot 1 - Birmingham Lot 2 - Hereford

NHS England and NHS Improvement - West Midlands (referred to as the Commissioner) is inviting providers to express interest in delivering Out of Hours urgent dental care services for Lot 1- Birmingham and Lot 2 - Hereford.

As a result of this procurement exercise a contract will be established with the successful Bidder(s) for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 1 year. The successful provider is expected to be fully operational, providing services from 1st April 2021.

Lot 1 - Birmingham

The Services are required to be open at weekends (Saturday and, Sunday) and Bank Holidays for a minimum of five hours per day (with a decontamination process to follow clinical face to face hours). The total indicative number of sessions for this Lot is 112, with estimated patient contact numbers between 5040 and 6720. The estimated contract value is 762720.00.

TUPE is applicable and Bidders are required to take their own advice on whether TUPE or COSOP will apply to this Lot they and their specific submitted bid.

Lot 2 - Hereford

The Services are required to be open at weekends (Saturday and, Sunday) and Bank Holidays for a minimum of five hours per day (with a decontamination process to follow clinical face to face hours) . The total indicative number of sessions for this Lot is 112, with estimated patient contact numbers between 1680 and 2240. The estimated contract value is 381360.00.
