description
The overarching aim of this research is to further develop the GMC's evidence base with regards to differential attainment, which will help inform the future development of interventions designed to reduce observed differences in attainment. This will ultimately help ensure fairness in medical education.
More specifically it is intended that the research will explore the factors associated with specialties and programmes which do not demonstrate statistical variation in attainment of UK BME trainees compared to UK White trainees.
