The authority understands that best value can only be achieved by designing a procurement strategy that allows the market to work to its strengths and the authority making it clear what is really important to them to ensure both parties achieve commercial and operational success. To this end we are inviting prospective tenderers to engage with Bristol City Council by e emailing the procurement Construction Team e-mail: construction.procurement@bristol.gov.uk and participating in this process by completing and returning a questionnaire by Tuesday 23.2.2016. Bristol City Council intends to give feedback to all suppliers that participated in completing and returning a questionnaire by e-mail in late February or early March 2016. Following the feedback information suppliers will be able to request a Pre-Market Engagement meeting for the week commencing 14.3.2016. The meeting will be a maximum of 1 hour. This will allow the suppliers to share in the development of the authority final documentation and details for the procurement process. Results of the feedback questionnaire will be recorded, anonymised and published at the time the project is sent out to tender to ensure the procurement is undertaken in a transparent, fair and equal process.

Additional information: Please email construction.procurement@bristol.gov.uk for the questionnaire
