Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit, acting on behalf of the NHS North Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group & NHS England North Midlands (the Commissioners) will be commencing a tender for the provision of GP (APMS) at The Grange Family Health Centre, Rectory Road Medical Centre and Inkersall Family Health Centre.
This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise prospective providers of the Commissioners’ intention and any planned “Meet the Commissioner – Market Engagement” events.
The Commissioners seek a provider to offer high quality and safe GP services (APMS) for circa 22 000 patients from the existing purpose built premises located at The Grange Family Health Centre, Rectory Road Medical Centre and Inkersall Family Health Centre from 1st October 2016. The service is currently being delivered under caretaker arrangements. The Commissioners will be the contracting and commissioning authority for the contract resultant from this procurement.
The successful provider will need to demonstrate that they can deliver services of a continuously high-quality and will be responsive to the needs of the diverse local population. The provider will be assessed on an on-going basis to ensure they deliver the quality required. These services must be provided by GPs and Nurses and the provider will be expected to deliver:

| • | Promotion of healthy living with the aim of tackling the underlying causes of ill health |

| • | All additional services |
| • | All Enhanced Services commissioned by NHS England and NHS North Derbyshire CCG |

The contract will be an APMS contract based on GMS Global sum, plus commissioned directed enhanced services and local enhanced services
There has been a caretaker APMS contract in place and the Commissioners will be seeking to re-procure services under the terms of an APMS contract for 15 years with an option to extend for a further 3 years. This APMS contract will commence from 1 October 2016.
The procurement will be conducted as on OJEU (Part B) Service Contract using the Open Procedure under the Public Contracts Regulations 2006.
Additional information: The Commissioner is inviting all interested providers to attend a “Meet the Commissioner - Market Engagement Event” event which will take place on Monday 29th February 2016, 10am – 11am.
